Despite significant disruption to productivity in construction sites caused by COVID-19, Lovell only had to close our Centennial Gate site for four weeks in line with Government guidelines and were able to resume work afterwards with rigid safety measures put in place that have helped in maintaining construction programme and quality.

Lovell successfully applied the most stringent of health and safety practices to combat the effects of the pandemic. Their staff has worked tremendously hard to ensure that there are potential medium to long-term benefits arising from extending and embedding these new working practices.

The changes made during the pandemic reflect the collective response by not only site staff, but frontline workers and occupational health and safety professionals to adapt safely and efficiently to the ongoing and evolving situation.
